I believe he is just pumping into the back of a drilling unit who then pumps it into the whole he just drilled.  That way you don't have to have cans down the whole to keep it from caving in.  Usually the mixer dumps into the drill. From the road it doesn't look like they could get the trucks to the drill.  I think it looks worse then it really is, just like pumping from one pump to another.  No one like those jobs but it takes cool pictures

Most guys I see use a trailer pump to do this.

Just another day in the neighborhood.

Bauer 40 Rig. Just filling the Foundations hole as the drill comes up.

Very Common

Well that is the point. I am familiar whit that kind of machinery and pumping into them whit a ground line is not a problem.

But strait of the boom like on the picture is a no go in my opinion. First you have to follow every move of the machine. And second the chance that these machines will tip over is not that small.

I dont think the pump has to move up as the drill comes out.  There is a hose that is connected solid to the back of the crane.  The operator should only have to move the boom when the crane is crawling.

There is quite a few of these rigs in our area. Most of these rigs usually have a small line pump with them but in this case I think backing a truck up in that excavation might not have been possible.
