You can also blow out hard concrete out of pipe with a pressure cleaner hooked to a blow out cap. Hang the pipe vertically with a forklift and turn it on. Make sure you blow out cap is a Billy bad ass because it will blow. If the pipe is old it's not worth it because the liner will come out. Doesn't sound possible does it? Well I've done it a few times for the new hands who have messed up.

I hope I never come across that problem again lol. If I do though, I will video it.

Blowing out hardened concrete out of a pipe is dangerous. The high pressure capacity of the pressure sprayer exceeds the clamp pressure rating. The possibility of rupturing the clamp or a weld that was made for hooking up the water hose attachment is very high. The people I have know that have done this also found out it will push out the twin wall lining on pipes in most circumstances. If you do this, its dangerous and your on your own...I wouldn't do it due to the liability of knowing that I was exceeding pressure ratings of the couplings I was using.

It gets it out and of course it's dangerous. I recommend not standing near it. The liner will come out of older or weaker pipes but I the summer time is an issue and money isn't always abundant. like I said tho make sure you have some very heavy duty caps and clamps. no mistaken it is dangerous.

try a 6 to 5 reducer on the swing elbow and pump water works best with a putz leaves the liner in tack

Yea that only works if it's green. You can't pump hard Concrete that has been sitting for a week with a Concrete pump. You can with a pressure cleaner though :)

DavidJS , what psi pressure washer do you use ? I have some pipes I'm gonna try this on.

I believe 3000 will be enough but we have a 4000 over here. he'll it might work with a 1300 never tried. let me know how it worked out. be sure you got a badass clamp tho

It also helps to chip out the concrete past the flange so it doesn't get hung up

You will have to fabricate a cap that can attach to a pressure washer's hose.  A bad ass clamp is a new clamp preferably a threaded handle or bolt clamp.  And yes even if the pipe was sitting in the yard as a fence post you can blow concrete out of that pipe

Didnt Putzmeister market some super high p.s.i. pressure washers a while back? Any Putz owner out there buy one?

I wonder is Beast was able to clean his pipe out

It also only works with single wall pipe. Trust me we have done it. it will tear the inside liner clear out!

Doesn't seem worth it, that looks like a lot of expensive equipment involved. why not try a rock drill I had to drill 6 foot holes, 2 inch in diameter in concrete for rebar cause someone messed up on plans. I always thought that would work good for hardened pipe, a little more labour intensive but the guy who lets this happen kind of deserves it.
