I need information on your machine as to how to how to fix this.

What year is the concrete pump? And where was the pump manufactured? To establish if it is FFH or ESE control. And a picture of the truck pump. send to pumbo@bigpond.com

More than likely your pump control pressure is not set correctly or the charge pump is worn, or the solenoid controlling the push over has failed and/or Purge (flushing) valve has failed and/or (if) applicable the chopper amplifier has wrong setting/failed.

okay first step lets establish your getting full control pressure. Put a 0-60 guage at m8 port located on the control block like the one in picture. The control block is FFH so it should be mounted on the top of your delivery cylinders.

At around 1400rpm engine speed (or 3/4 max engine speed depending on engine to pto gearing) the guage with the PUMP OFF should show the case pressure of the main pump which is a sauer sundstrand 6/119 between 26-32 Bar depending on flushing valve setting This is known as your feed pressure.. The machine datasheet found in the manual can give you exact figure if available.

When you put PUMP ON the gauge should give you ideally show between 22-24 BAR this is known as control pressure. The difference in pressure between feed and control pressure is influenced by the flushing valve. You need at LEAST 6 bar difference to keep flushing cool oil into the circuit and not to overheat your main pump. You can increase it or decrease it according to your liking. Decreasing the pressure difference to 6 bar gives you true full flow at low RPM. Increasing the pressure difference means you have to have high rpm to achieve true full flow from the main pump.

Putzmeister set from factory have variable differences on each machine depending on primarily the HP of the engine and strain of the pumps on engine effect. The lower the pressure difference the harder your truck engine works at lower rpm. Skilled operators adjust the engine rpm and flow manually according to distance and delivery rate of the material being pumped.

Let me know what your pressures are and post a picture of the control block.

yes that isthe control block. Plug a 0-60 bar guage on m8. When pumping max rpm should show above 20 bar for full flow. When not pumping should be around 30+1 bar or so...it can be greater than31 bar should not be a problem.

On other side of control block there is a Cross like knob. Turn clockwise fully for full flow. Let me know what readings are with full rpm:

1. Pump on

2. Pump off

I notice my machine temperature too high at beginning, around 60 ํC @ 1400 rpm. So for long hour concrete  pumping it rise to 80 ํC.
