S tube not sliding clean

Running a unique putz platform basically a BSA on a track. the Stube and spec plate heve been changed out and the S tube is binding as it switches over even when the Hex bolt at the back is loosened to hand tight. the weird thing is that the S tube only binds when being remotley stroked,not when it is stroked manually with the proportional joystick (manual) . any insite would be greatly appreciated.

Pull the "S" tube grease bushings out and check i'll bet grout is in there.
