Hey guys, Im a UK citizen and i am considering going too US/Canada too work for a while.

Does anyone know the steps i would need to take and if thier are any pump companys that would be willing too help?

you need to get a working visa with whatever company you wish to work in, and then if you want to stay you have to pay the government money to stay. usually. I was looking into moving to Australia and I believe it was $30,000 or $40,000.00 to the Australian government to move there. but a working visa should get you started

If you are an experienced pump operator you would be able to find work in Australia under the "457" visa program.

As in the USA, a local willing employer would have to kick start the application. I would suggest buying a low cost air ticket to your desired location, check out the prospects then go for it. No visa required for a short tourist / holiday trip.

Best bet is to phone the company and ask if they sponcer/work visa.  ft mac murray, alberta is feast or famine with a droping barrel.  are u a city or country person?
