Why on our 05 Concord is the accumulator plumbed in the stack valves? It seems occasionally if u move boom after setting a while it wants to jump a lit wen starting to move, it may not have anything ta do wit accumulator but often wondered y it is hooked up so .

I am not too familiar with the hyd. System on your pump, but the only reason to have an accumulator plumbed in the boom hydraulics is, to absorb a pressure spike (as you would get when moving the boom at max speed and suddenly stop movement, ), secondly, if you were to engage multiple functions at the same time, you get extra oil, that the accumulator stores into the system, basically assisting the boom pump

 

It does sound a little strange though, check the gas pressure on the accumulator,,it may be too high (that would explain the jump the boom does after it sits a while

I run a 2015 Scwhing. Lately I've noticed the same thing when i come up with the main section...pump engaged or not...it has a little jump at first then smooths right out. I've watched the stack valve and everything looks normal. Any thoughts?

Your problem is more than likely an electrcial problem, the threshold when the electrical controller sends a signal to the stack valve is set too high, and once it sends the signal, your hyd. pump is already set for a higher volume output, thats why you see a jump.

Another possibility is a low control pressure on your stack valve, with a new pump very unlikely, but possible

On a 2005 Concord, the boom pump also feeds the accumulator. That's why they are plumbed in that way.  Cool

Why couldn't that be done with a putz than ? Sometimes they r a little short on volume on accumulator circuit.

it will be useful if you send the schematic drawing for the circuit i think that the accumulator in putzmiester are separated from the boom.am i right?

They only did it in 2005. They were able to complete the hydraulic circuit without the need for an accumulator pump. In 2006, they added the accumulator pump back, but kept the plumbing going to the boom pump in place. This circuit was closed off with a locking ball valve. The idea behind it was in the event you lose your accumulator pump, you can open this valve and divert the oil feed from the boom pump to the accumulator circuit. This would allow you to finish the job. I don't have a schematic for the hydraulic circuit which I'm able to attach to this, but I'll see if I can get one.
