Is the pumpability of lightweight concrete better when using an ash mix or straight cement?I am going with ash,just looking for opinions.

i am also curious on this. i pumped crete the other day with no additives except rock, sand and cement and OMG, it pumped HARD.....but why? it was supposedly a 4000psi mix

the best lightweight is when the rock is wet wich we know never happens,but it does pump better with super p in it

Baddassduramax, welcome to the club. here in Puerto Rico thats all we pump. just sand, rock and cement. like once in 100 jobs i do they use super p. and like every 1000 jobs i do one with flyash.

a little fyash helps

i have always found high cement mixes at lower slump with super p was always tougher on the pressure gauge,
