really dangerous because nobody does anything to improve security in this way? I hope that the driver has not done anything wrong ....

I seen a mixer driver do about the same thing. He came on the wrong road, down a hill next to a job i was doing. He locked up the brakes and just flattened the drum a little. 

We have one low bridge here in Denver,so far in the last 30 or so collected 4 booms that I can remember.

years ago there was an operator that always raised his 42m boom to wash out.He got into a pissing match with wife on cell phone and drove off.Can you imagine the horror of it all when that darned bridge jumped out at him.I'm talk'n about a interstate bridge at 55 mph,kersmack,totaled !!!
