hollow pins aren't too bad to replace. you just need to be careful not to damage the c clip or damage the hollow pin metal. if you get burrs anywhere be sure to get them off before trying to reinstall the clip or it will never go together.

or the c clip will not set down entirely and could pop off, releasing your pin and dropping your section
