I just wanted to get some feedback from everyone. As the consumer do you feel it is a conflict of interest for a pump company to also be a pump dealer? Thanks

In other words, would you buy a new boom pump or new trailer pump from a company that also has a rental fleet that you might have to compete against? Does it make them a more understanding dealer or a competitor with priveledged information?

I worked for two different companys .I was asked the same question .Although I had respect for the one that manufactured . I could not in all honesty tell the one i was then working for .That he would`nt have problems getting spare part to him if things were quiet .They did in fact sell pumps all over the world and provided a good service.
