Gotta question i have a 40m z boom with 4.4 pipe ultra lite boom 24volt can i put 5 inch pipe insteed of 4.4 (to damn expensive) it has little blocks in the holders just wondering

I feel for you. Back in the 80ds there was a few 50 meter with 4.5 pipe. i was told that they got the ok to use 5". Some years later one of them had a boom break :((( I only heard that in the court room the builder said they never ok that! It had a very SAD ending.

you can go to 4.6 pipe no bigger.
