i agree remtron is in escondido ca but i believe putz you have to go through them or the dealer you got you machine from they usually have the notes of how they programmed your remote. as far as for slickline i only know of a couple places on the west coast and if you through a couple shovel fulls of clean dirt in on each side of your hopper then its alot easier to clean out after you have already washed the machine out you can take a digging bar or a steak to it and will pop rite out as far as for blowing out you could take a kiddy pool and put the end of the hose in there and there is an adapter to go to iam sure all size hoses and it hooks up to a garden hose alot safer may take a little longer but once again alot safer its just water the pipe tech site has them on there website and if your going three stories get some grout that is alot of system and if you keep pluging your prolley gonna have a customer thats gonna start to get pissed off and not wanna use you but if you cant find someone to pump 40000 yards a year you let me know and ill make a road trip if you have any other questions feel free to ask but i agree with pump in finish so IAM SORRY

the home depots out here have a thing called concrete remover throw it on espacally on a hot day and if you have a pressure washer best way 3000psi or better even better but a good way is to spray pledge on and then throw tarps on the go can go back at the end of the day and wipe everything rite off

Well now I know more about you and where your coming from.Like I said in my mail call Bob,not only is he on his game but knows everyone everywhere (a valuable resourse).

As for priming solutions we have our own personal preferences,I am more with fritz pack,one of our sponsors on the right.Some of the guys will mix a bag in one or two buckets before concrete.You will have to experimate as what works for you and operator.Most of what we do is trial and error in this reguard.

As for pipe,I have always liked con form stuff,also a sponsor on right.They really know there side of the business.

You mentioned cleaner,system or pump? for system we have a new sponsor,or general washing zep products always worked good for me.We also (some) will mix used hyd oil/diesel and spray back of pump,some use a form release agent.Also covering the hopper area with plastic is also a great practice.

No sir,I don't talk to my clients like you mentioned.I do however have say 30+ in the pumping industry (operator/maint supervisor/mechanic) and in 2003 started my own concrete/landscaping company.

It is Fritz-Pac unless you have a ways to go before the discharge hose; then it is 9 sack grout with a water chaser ;~)

Hmm now that i think about it , it might have been the way I herd it!

I use portland to prime,sometimes slick willy and a pig to clean a boom,sometimes aided with a little air.Speedy clean seems to work well for dry concrete and splatter coat 100 works well for hopper oil,both are environmentally sound.Line on the ground either gets dumped,pushed out with water or puffed on with a little air,always have a bleed valve to purge air pressure.We are also a concrete service company,PPF and form setting group,I know where you are coming from dealing with operators,alot are so enthralled in a shiny truck they do alot of whining to the finishers,let them blow their smoke,it will pass.......

and kudos for being a big enough man to apologize, not many here will do that, but as I myself have learned some of these topics will piss you off and I have had to apologize a couple of times myself for going on rants and typing before I sit back and think , but for the most part I do not will not apologize for my opinions and beliefs if you compromise that than you have nothing and are useless to this site

i use bentonnite a drilling compound and mix it with about 5 gallons of water and it makes for some pretty nasty slimy gooey nasty stuff

Given the necessity of having to mix my own slurry for a line job I would choose to use masonry cement. It mixes better than portland, requires less water and lubricates more line per bag while weighing less. 1/2 of a 5 gal bucket of water per 1/2 bag of masonry cement. Wet interior of line and hoses before set-up. Pour 2 buckets of mix into start of line and one bucket of mix into discharge point and 'walk back slurry in hose to joint with pipe and pour it out. NEVER fails. ;~)

good for 200 - 250 ft of 3 or 4 inch. For 5 inch increase to 3 buckets in hopper and stuff slurry bags in first pipeahead of slurry.

i agree pumpnfinish with you about most of what you said but in the end its todds house if we do not obey the rules we get kicked to the curb,I do not always agree but I respect it because it is his house,and I have been deleted also , but I moved on and I continue to post my opinions and experiences however insulting or controversial as they may be , if he (todd) chooses to delete that is his choice all I can do is post and if it makes it through good, if not I'll try the next time, I did not get to read the post before it was deleted but sounded as though I may have pissed some off to.

and I use novagel to prime and elbow grease to clean no concrete removers here just working to keep them clean,concrete removers are not needed if you keepm clean everyday, 20 years never used any miracle cleaners just elbow grease and a steady diet of brush and soaps always worked for me.

Lots of years ago I regularly used acid to clean my pump. I quit the practice after seeing and repairing the damage. A small putty knife and a scrub brush with soap and water worked for me after that.

Bottom line for me was that it was easier to keep it clean than to try and get it clean. Some of the new cleaners are pretty good stuff but they all cost more than dish soap.

I rub my hopper down with butter flavored crisco, then I clean it up with a dozen biscuts.

To prime I use brown gravy.
