Hi teb....just got a new 37 xxt Reed pump delivred yesturday from Chino really really happy with the service till now...the outrigger (dragonfly) are very cool on it,,,the first day i pour at least 225 meter of concrete and it was a real charm...we primed the pump and it never stop pumping she just wanted more...if you want to buy a pump dont hesitate go with reed

I operated a Reed Dragonfly for three months last year while waiting on our older Reed ST36 to be overhauled.  The Dragonfly outriggers were awesome, especially up here in the Sierras where you have to get real clever with all the trees in your way....let alone contractors that pile stuff up all around the jobsite, you know the scene.  The photo of the red dragonfly on the Reed website was taken by me, we were pumping underneath a pole barn.  If it were my dollar, I'd go with one of the sponsors on this website, such as Reed, Cifa, Concord, KCP, etc,  before I spent mega bucks on one of the big names.  I have chatted, emailed, and spoken over the phone with many members on this website about Reed.  The biggest thing that is the most satisfactory with buying a pump from a smaller company is the CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!  When I operated a P---------r, I always felt like I was burdoning them by calling their parts dept.  I would never get a call back, and would always be left on hold for eternity....one time I was even asked, "how many pumps in your fleet"?  I answered, "one, why does that matter".  I am still trying to figure out why the part dept wanted to know how many pumps we were running.....I can pick up the phone right now and call my Reed field service rep and speak with him....24 HOURS A DAY.  How many of you can do that with the big guys????

What are you up to these days?

Second day with the pump  ..first job a litle addition behind a house had to pump over the house and on one side the neigbours grass so we could not put the outrigger on is grass....the pump is working really good no [roblem till now...second job a wall no problem...third job a footing got back home a 6:30 p.m

really like the Reed...not regretting at all my purchase

telequip, I have no idea why Reed isn't growing faster.  Personally I hope they are very successful, but keep that "personal" touch with their customers.....
