I love it.

Nice to see no body whining about "how dangerous and foolish" that is like I've seen in the past.  Because that's a pretty standard common fix to finish a job or just to blow out and clear the system.  

Sometimes the pipes will fail in the most awkward places - the key here is get the job completed. One patch up to finish the job is acceptable, two or more patchups on a paper thin pipeline = shamefull.
