95schwing:: unless the manuals in the states are different than the ones in Europe. It is possible to drive whit the boom over the cab whit a 24meter unit. The only thing I can think of why it isn’t possible is because the front axle of a Mack can’t handle the weight.  

And this I know from Schwing  and Putzmeister  the unit in the pic is a Cifa and that I am not for sure.

And logger I know what you mean when you say why put out the line if you can do it from the boom

where's the left riggers on the cifi? what if u swing more to the left n for got u short rig or even for got to put em out n all the guys down there wood be killed?

both front riggers fully out left rear is 2ft out  and you dont forget its shortrigged tie a bow to your remote plus owner of neighboring property was watching to make sure i stayed off her lawn
