Because americans are easily sold by salespeople that dont have a clue. manufactures sell what will make them the most money not the customer. For the most part we fail to do any costing or analysis of the different benefits of any machine. Re build an s tube and elephant trunk and tell me whats cheaper tink

Weight is also a factor, which is really funny because everything over a 32m needs a permit. (in GA)

702 valves will not pump what the 907 s-tube will. 704 C valves (which will) only lasted 40,000 yards (=/-) in the US. Not real cost effective. We\ll keep running our s-tubes thank you.

We use to get over 100,000 yards out of the c tube and they changed them and it dropped to 50,000. Mfg got to make$$$$$ so we made are own and increased to 60,000 as far as the mix we used them in houston and all they knew at the time was 1 1/2 limestone and they did as well as thee other brands we used some you never heard of pumpit, e con placer along with schwings

Hi Dave, I was talking a little more recent. My only experience with c valves goes back to when they were "re-introduced" in the mid 90's. You're talking the early-mid 80's when you owned pumps and placed concrete in Houston right?

i think s-tubes are unbeatable never ran a c-valve befor but ive worked with s-tubes and the rock-valves but still rather have s-tube design.
