pump fire

I was on a 1200 yard pour with another  pump . Ihad been pumping non stop for about an hour and one half looked over at the pump when i heard a wierd noise and  all of a sudden the pump was in a big ball of fire . Quite the site.

do you know what started the fire?

I have a pretty good idea . But i don't want to say till the investigation on monday.

wow how sad. Nobody was hurt?

no luckily everybody was behind the front outriggers

What a nightmare! Hope noone get hurt.

had to go get another pump . it happened at 4am got to pump concrete .

notice that the boom is still in the air.  Says something about holding valves and how tough they are

wow,another reason they don't put micrwave ovens in pumps

yah the pump gods were with me that pour

w e got the hopper and around the rock valve cleaned out but also had to pump concrete too .
