Maybe if it was shorter still, maybe 1/2 the hose ID. But still I don't think I'd use it.

It works well , I got one from Putz at BAUMA . I have pumped 2000-3000m3 through a 4" endhose without any problem , but never bigger ballast then 25mm (1") so in a 5" endhose it is probably possible with bigger ballast . And it flex down if something bigger is coming through.

I dont see much wear on it but you see that it is used after the cubic I have pumped . Do your own it is no "rocketsience" !

Why cant you just put a 4" hose on??
