well i love pumping concrete yall i sure do its like my life but right now down in fla there aint nuttin goin good so im doin roofing boy every day i wish i was running a pump wen i go to work on the roof sure aint ez but wen ya got a family u have to do what u gta do to make that money but thought this wood be a good thing to talk about since we are sure havein a ruff time to do wha we love

up here in charlotte nc we are traveling at least an hour and a half most days...nice on the pay check but damn I get tired of driving

I can´t translate their subwaylanguage - and you Pumpkid use exactly the same ununderstanding word as my daughters use to do in their teenage-fase. I understand schoolenglish - we learn that in Swedish schools from 8 year. But your English is too much Eminem-lyrics.Write like you learned in school - then the whole world understand your point.

I'm in Las Vegas NV and there's NOTHING going on here, :( just a few years ago you couldnt look down the strip without seeing a pump and mixers. ahhh the good ole days... I had to find work as a paramedic to make ends meet

sry for the ones that cant under stand my "slang" but im 23 and thats the thing we do im young yes but ey thats what we do but any who i see pumps here and there still but not a nuff to run around like it was like 4 or 5 years ago pretty slow every where i reckon

Been pumping concrete in Ohio and working my tail off at it. 60+ hours a week for four weeks straight. Getting kinda burned out on it but then I remember what wintertime is like and am thankful for what I've got.

Boominspector, i do my very best to make my replys understandebly in english - i´m from Sweden and we is teached english from 8 years old, in school. I´m a concretepumer - how much do you think that i cared about the schoolcertificate after leaving school? My schoolcertificate means  that i´m an incompetent idiot! Maybe i am, but i run a pumpcompany that i started from nothing but a loan in a bank. A big knowledge of pumping concrete to bad places have helped me to get the bankpeople from my door. But what ever, if this site have bin in Swedish instead, then i probably have bin the king to express the right gramatic words. But until then i try my very best to express my self in english. No hard feelings from my side.   

Pumpkid, sorry that i can´t give you a job - my pumps are manned. But if you move to Stockholm (Sweden) then i can help you to get a boompumpjob. I know the Stockholm concretemarket very well. Usual Swedish people don´t want to do a dirtyjob - they don´t have to - the Swedish government pay them anyway, if they can prof that they have a little bit of snore in their nose,(Swedish healthcaresysteme) so they can lay down in their sofa and play playstationgame all day long, or what ever they do...... Thats why the whole Stockholmarea scream for a boompumper, who work at least 5 days/week without missuse the Swedish healthcaresysteme.

sweden sounds like a rode trip to me lol yeh i sure do love pump i own my own pump i bought with the money i made from pumping concrete no bank help on my end no one knockin on my door for payments my dad tought me a few good things one of the things where if u want some thing in life then u get it so i took 800 bucks and bought me a small line pump and that hadda been the best thing iv done i try to follow his foot steps even tho theres a lot more steps i have to take to be beside em but i try to be half the man he is dam good pump opr.boss and dad i had a dream i wanted to be like him wen i can even think of jobs in K i was sayin imma be a pump opr, while every one wants to be a cop or fire fighter so im for fillin em tho so things are shity on my end for the market slow as a snail but ill be pumping again just gna tinker with my pump and git it to top notch then ill be ready but outher thin that the eng. talk whats the prob with the way i talk, speak or sound i droped outta high school when i was 16 been pumping since and pretty dam good at buddy concrete dont need a ged or a G.P.A i mean u can go to school and learn but that wood make u a button pusher im a opr no button pusher im sure theres a few that know what im sayin but im not on this site for some one to kncok on my speeling or the way i talk im here cuz u do the same thing i do and i injoy the convos the ones that talk with me about our job but looks like where the same cuz u pump also so whats so diff about us? notta dam thing cuz i talk with a slag u gta judge me?...
