Reed makes good pumps. if u can get one for that $ I say go for it, I think you would b better of to get a tow behind and forget about the boom deal

The door is wide open!! Get the boom and put a kid on the trailer! Take your time and talk to as many sales people that you can take without passing out.

I went for a 36  when I started out. the extra reach will come in handy,a bigger pump like a 47 there are 2 more big front tires ,generally larger motor = more fuel  and more pipe to buy plus the higher price of the pump. that reed sounds like a fair price i just got a new quote on 1 + 2 million ins. in a shared risk program about 9,000 a year. I think I'm gonna jump on that.Good luck.

The company I work for had a 32m Putz, now we have a 36m Reed.  The big difference is (1) the price doesn't kill ya and (2) the customer service is awesome.  It is rare that I am on hold for an eternity, and I get a call back (right away) when I leave a message.

we charge $110 an hour, $2.00 a yard. with a 4hr min.

with a 5% fuel surcharge

I agree completly, i think that we should charge atleast $150. But due to cheap competition we are forced to charge $110/hr. we do charge the $110 from when we leave the yard till when we leave the job. and the 5% fuel surecharge makes up for not charging millege.
