There are few enough good people in our industry. I really hate to think that we lost one to the VM market.

I guess that you are following a dollar somewhere; you have to get it where you can. Neat machine. Do you have much of a market at this point? ;~)

Speedy,a nice concept.Now you can sleep in more,ohh the bordem.Another thing trying to get in is those little mixer trailers in our area.Hope it makes you a good living.

Speedy, I have been pumping with a guy who ownes a Zimmerman Volumetric Mixer. I am have a heck of a time getting primed. I use slick-willie somtimes and portland with water sometimes just like I always do with the ready mix company. He has his settings set @ ROCK-6.75 SAND-5 WATER 10. Once I beat the hose for a hour and get unpluged it will flow, but it sounds like it has too much rock going thur the hose. By the way using 2-inch hose, Reed HP-30 hyd. Got any ideas. thanks

speedy,I have used VM with pumps with zero problems.The 52's are a different breed on priming but with a slick pac a breeze.Will you have to stop pumping to let it catch up,you bet.Another point is an owner operator with savy can richen the 1st 1/2 yard and there you go.Be the ball

Yes, it will pump once you get primed. On a 150 foot pump job the slump may change 1-2 inch. The concrete looks great on the slab. This guy is new in the bussiness and knows not a thing about pumping, and I am the only pumper he has used, I think its in the start of the job maybe too much rock. I will contact the factory Monday, they should have some spec's on the mix for small line pumps. Does your VC have a drag chain and slide gates to feed the screw? 

 thats a good maching you got there. theres 3 of those here in honolulu i think only 1 is a public suplier. the other 2 like that 1 is owned by a trucking company the other a contractor. i like how they can ajust the slump as the pour go's on. i really like pumping with those machins there slow but the mix last pretty long which is good cause if you got more then 1 load it holds up pretty long. depending on where the pour is here you could end up waiting about 3 hours till the truck comes back. right now the one guy that got it is making a killing cause you could expect to wait up to 2-3 weeks for concrete because of all the new highrises going up. i see that guy on the road every day.
