so i used to joke that volvo would be building pumps, well they own mack truck and duetz diesel for starters and are buying ingersol rand/bob cat.

besides the areo engines and boat motors on the web site that i look at for the construction equipment they have a interactive (tco) total cost of operation.

on my unit as close as i could get was from my hourly rate i was 60% labor so for the low hours it gave me a 20 k annual income, guess i could do it on paper also.

looking at my oil cooler it is stamped ford on the tanks. 

A look at corperate Volvo page isn't clear as to bobcat being included. What will be interesting is to see what they do with it's assets.
