MICHAEL CETNAR

Technical Safety Expert & Regional Manager

Michael Cetnar is a recognized technical safety expert and industry practitioner in concrete pumping and delivery systems, with continuous involvement in the concrete pumping industry since 1994. He currently serves as Regional Manager and Technical Safety Expert at Construction Forms, a position he has held since 2013. Mr. Cetnar combines extensive hands-on equipment operation and project experience with formal safety leadership, committee service, and published technical contributions across North America.

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE AND OPERATIONAL BACKGROUND

Mr. Cetnar has operated a wide range of concrete pumping equipment, including boom pumps, small-line trailer pumps, high-pressure concrete pumps, and separate placing booms. He has performed maintenance on various pumping systems and has worked for concrete pump rental companies as well as managed concrete pumping operations for one of the largest contractors in the United States.

He has been directly involved in more than a dozen high-rise projects, with responsibilities encompassing delivery-line setup, planning, management, and operation of concrete pumping equipment. His project experience spans tunnels, subway systems, high-rise structures, dams, infrastructure, commercial, industrial, and residential work. In his current role with Construction Forms, he has supported numerous concrete pumping projects across North America.

SAFETY LEADERSHIP AND INDUSTRY CONTRIBUTIONS

Mr. Cetnar serves as an American Concrete Pumping Association (ACPA) Safety Trainer and is an active ACPA member. He is a member of the NCCCO Concrete Pump Exam Management Committee and serves on the Board of the American Shotcrete Association (ASA), including its Education and Safety Committee. He is also a member of the Canadian Standards Association (CSA) Z151 Committee and has been recognized as a subject-matter expert for Concrete BC.

He has authored numerous articles for the ACPA and ASA that have been published in their respective magazines. In addition, Mr. Cetnar has delivered extensive concrete pump safety and concrete pump delivery-line safety presentations and discussions for the ACPA, ASA, concrete pumping companies, and general contractors throughout the United States and Canada.
