Hello,

I wonder if anyone can help me obtain the technical specification for the above truck mounted boom.

Its an old girl YOM 1987 with a 3 mast boom but still in very condition. We intend to use 2 modified sections of the boom in our tunnel project

Any help greatly appreciated.

Regards

Steve Bowler

3 mast 32 meter booms are incredibly rare because of their ~5.5 meter overhang, i doubt it would be getting around in hong kong. Are you sure it is 3 arm? And what technical information are you requesting?

Hi Pumbo

Thanks for the reply. Yes its a 3 arm boom please see the photos but we do not intend to use it truck mounted.

The last boom and part of the middle boom will be modified to fit a purpose built concrete distributor and used to place concrete lining inside our tunnel project.

I have requested the standard technical specification sheet showing the range of the booms coverage from Putz UK and Germany but no reply as yet. If you have any information at all it would be appreciated.

Thanks again.

Steve

Rare to find those 32/3 still going around. I don't have that kind of information at hand, you may struggle to even get such info as most of those pumps are now somewhere in the archives and difficult to source from Putz.

An estimate (if it helps), 1st arm should give you 95 degrees (with possibly 2 degrees below horizon and 2 degrees beyond vertical), 2nd arm 180 degrees, 3rd arm 255 degrees. Slewing rack and pinion 365 degrees. 2.5 degrees beyond 360 degrees in both opposite directions set from factory. Footprint around 7.5M on the front and 4.0M on the rear telescoping. Hope that helps somewhat.
