Had some strange experience the other day. Was using our backup pump for first time. The main pump let me down just before the job. The back up has a tight radius 6'' 90 HP elbow straight out of the hopper. We were up in about 105bar during the pour but the elbow should be able to handle 150bar. After the pour the hard liner in the elbow was completely scattered and the elbow was writen off..

Really wondering how thats possible.. Picture will follow in a few days Wink

No. It is Putzmeister. We have 4 pumps, 900m line and loads of equipment from Putzmeister on that job. All working perfectly. Hans Eibinger from Austria is our suplier. Great company. Only this one elbow is f*cked up Wink

PS: reason why I had to use the backup pump was because someone left the ignition on on the main pump so the battery was completely flat..

Dipstick I think we don’t have to blame the manufacturer.

This bend was by the first load that was send to the building place and then replaced several times. Taking in mind that the people over there had no clue what was involved whit pumping concrete, they currently had no clue how breakable a twin pipe can be. So probably someone have dropped it in a box to hard what damaged the innerline.

Maybe.. I remember I took it out of the box myself Embarassed  But than I lost sight of it for some weeks untill you used it for the backup pump. Not trying to blame the manufacturer by the way. I don't even bother to try get it on guarantee. I believe it must be something we did wrong..
