Here's the issue. Will be pumping along ok, 4 or 5, and it decides to take just one full stroke at about 10 or 11 and back down to were i started. Replaced coil and related parts, not the block,  with a known working unit and it was ok for a couple of days than it started this routine. Before we replaced it you had control up 6 strokes. But if you tried to go faster it went straight to 11 or 12 strokes. This is a '07 2525 unit with a vector.

Also the block has a noticeable vibration that goes away when you unplug it. You can also hear it.

Will it do the same thing on your local panel or spare cable box?

check the plumbing from the SL block to the hyd. Pumps, i had the exact same problem before. did you check the pressure settings?

Swapped stroke limit block only made problem worse. Pressures are all fine. Milliamps on computer are all good. At 4 strokes it jumps to 16 strokes but mainitains 20 bar. Now what it does is takes 4 or 5 strokes than falls off to 2 or 3 strokes per min. All this on it's own.

Can you control it manually?  Are there any heat issues?  You said earlier that it does not do this with the hard cord or rear panel.  Are you sure you are reading the correct pressure?  Is the coil the correct voltage?  Is supplemental pressure set @ 50 bar?

Yes it can be run manually, smooth as butter, the gauges sweep up and down smoothly while doing so. Sorry but yes it malfunctions on the panel as well as both hardwire and remote boxes. AS for coil voltage. i'm not sure. According to the computer it's fine, 1500 ma drops to 1458 ma, Vector thinks this is fine. Supplemental pressure is at 48 bar. As for the guage, it's a 3 dial setup,I'm confident he knows how to read it. Yes he did talk to Schwing and they are not sure.

We also filtered the oil to see if that might help, but it did'nt.

Weave, without looking at the system, I start to think you may have a problem with the hyd. pump, or better the pump regulator. do you have another regulator, that you can swap out to troubleshoot this problem?

No,i don't believe we do.  I think you're right too. Tonite they just turned the set screw in and it seemed to take the jump out. I'll try tomorrow. If not i'll do it manually again

sounds like stuck spools inside the regulator; if you take the regulator off to clean up the spools, you will need a vacuum pump attached to the hyd. tank, otherwise you'll be loosing a lot of oil (likewise, if you have the capability to drain the tank, you can do that also); when you take the regulator off, make sure you dont loose the small o-rings, sometimes they get washed away; when you reinstall the regulator, line up the hp control first, and then push the regulator over to line up the screw holes

We messed with the coil stem set screw. Tried it last Friday, just need to try it some more to be sure before i say anything. Definitely helped.

So here's what we did. Destroked the volume at the stem set screw, then turn it back in til the needle on the gauge just barely starts to tick. Turn the screw back a 1/4 and lock it down. It gave me back all my control with no spikeing or run away pumping so far.
