Mark Williams Construction is accepting applications for experienced Concrete Pump Operators to join our team in Sarasota, FL. We specialize in structural concrete and post-tension high rises but also perform concrete pumping for outside customers. Must have Class A or B CDL license without an E restriction (our concrete boom pumps are manual transmission) Must be able to sit and stand for extended periods of time Communicate clearly and effectively Must be able to lift up to 110lbs (occasionally) Must have mechanical knowledge and be prepared to perform routine maintenance/repairs to concrete pumps Must be able to climb up and down stairs or ladders, if and as necessary Must be able to deal with customers and co-workers professionally and respectfully Must comply with all State, Federal and Local laws and regulations Must be able to wear and use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Must perform assigned function safely and in compliance with all applicable OSHA, MSHA, FMCSA regulations and company safety policies and procedures Must perform assigned job function honestly, safely, efficiently and professionally Must pass background check and have a clean driving record Concrete pump operators work outdoors in all types of weather and environmental conditions, with loud noise and dust part of the daily environment. In addition, they must routinely coordinate projects with other trades-people including masons, ironworkers, crane operators, carpenters, concrete finishers and construction laborers.
