03' Schwing 39 w/2525 stroking problem

It pumps like a champ till it gets to around 45 degrees +/- and then it goes to barely stroking. Turn the strokes up to 10 and nothing changes for 10 or 11 strokes and then WIDE OPEN it goes till you throw the stroke knob down then back to barely stroking. We've replaced both filters and hydraulic oil along with the stroke limiter cartridge and coil. So the question is, has anyone had this problem and if so, what do I do next? Thanks

did you replace the soft-switch cartridge on the top of the brain?

Try putting the quarter turn valve from normal to Pressure Control while pumping and see if the problem goes away. I had the same problem with the 34 i was running with the 2023 pumpkit and it ended up being the soft switch.

Note: While in pressure control, it will shift a lot harder

It's the o rings in the soft switch. Check them and replace

I did turn the quarter turn valve but didn't make a difference. I will try the o-ring and see what happens. I own the company and I'm not around this pump all the time and I've went with it a couple times but when I do, it don't mess up of coarse. Thanks for the info!

Would them o-rings cause the temp to run warm? It gets up to 70 degrees even with the fan on.

i beleive so the o-rings were bad on the 52 i run and it.would.get hot and have stroking issues, the oil bypasses somehow.and doest cool off, mech. replaced o-rings and problem solved

You may have aproblem with the stroke limiter valve itself; first, plug in the cable remote to see if the problem still exist, if it goes away, you have an issue with the remote. If the problem is still there, you need to check the pressure, that controls the main hydraulic pumps, 8 out 10 times the electronic cartridge and solenoid that sends the hyd. Signal to the pumps is bad.

70 deg C celsius does not seem really hot, when you run the pump, check the hoses for one that is hotter than all the others, usually a case drain hose out of the pump gets hot, when the pump is worn out; your soft switch is ok, unless you have a shifting problem

By your description I would say you have a issue with the stroke limiter valve or a regulator on the hydraulic pump. You need to monitor the pressure at the stroke limiter valve. Call me with any further questions.

Yeah those Schwing guys are the best. The stroke limiter knob needs to be turned all the way up to keep full hydraulic function. I had a problem with a slow rock valve, turns out i needed to turn the SL up full.

make sure you have 0 volts to 12 volts on your stroke limiter and 8 bar to 40 bar oil pressure. It can be a card or a chip on the main card or maybe just reajust your stroke limiter in your main card with a pressure gauge on the stroke limiter
