No way, it would be nice to pump sand but it doesn't work. |

three or four hundred pounds of slag works just as good, there is a lean mix in my area that uses no cement at all mainly slag with fly ash pumps like butter in fact best cdf mix I've ever pumped |

No problem, we pump it everyday at an 8"+ slump through both booms and trailers. Pump continuous (re-circulate) or it will separate. If you need any slump or need to stop add two bags of bentonite to a load. If it it a slow job or lots of waiting make it a 3-4 sack with either flyash or cement. |

its gonna eat on your piston cups and cylinders, and all your wear parts , that much sand just eats up pistons especially if its hard to pump, we always do 400 lb cementuous material , doesnt matter if its slag, cement, or fly ash , it will all pump as long as its wet enough. |
