From June 3, through June 5, 2008, about 10,000 trained and certified officers will blanket the roadways of North America for Roadcheck 2008. These officers will perform inspections that involve a comprehensive 37-step procedure.

Bob thay have been in Chicago area for years. Almost every town around Chicago has 1 or 2. I get stopped once Every two weeks. They just like to mess with me now. It's truning in to a joke now.I tell them nothing has changed.But they still run me to the scales.They make me alot of money because i get payed by the hour.

Bob, It's what I call "obedience tax" Work out their cost per hour against the 'fines" good money machine.

"Crime does not pay" there's no money stopping a mugger, auto thief, guy pissing in the street. But a pump spilling mud on the road, they have the licence plate, the owner of the property. Speeding or any other road bad habit, don't pay your property taxes, these you can't escape as they can attach your assets. Down here ....... f you don't pay a fine they cancel your drivers licence and road registration.
