Ok you guys are right but I like the guy, i bet he is learning and will get better. I am not defending him but its kind of like this, we know guys like Pat who let their operators use two ended hose and so why are we surprised when we see other do it. Again two ended hose is bad but I bet this video and this web site will help end the two ended hose problem someday. |

I have to say Flavio worked for my company for about a year and one thing I remember him saying was how he would never run a double end hose only if he was plugging in to system that was one of his biggest conversations to have in the yard so I don't know whats up him on this poor! Safety first I'd rather throw my 4 inch hose on and pump a little slower, if i didn't have my five inch whip hose then to run that 5 inch double end and risk the chance of getting air or a plug in the line and breaking someone's legs or killing them! |

Well i have to say i love Flavio, he got my 17' sticker on t.v. but I am saddened by the two ended hose thing. |

One more thing, Flavio made us look good compaird to the line pump version of that show, those guys really sucked. At least Flavio did a much better job than them. here is the video http://video.concretepumping.com/view_video.php?viewkey=ea8fe223c713b77189a7 Here is that video. |

I know I just work for a paint shop ..BOB, but this video really lets people like me that are trying to learn this field, how it could be dangerous using a doubled tip hose. Mike Rowe from dirty jobs, isnt a small guy and you can see how much that hose moved around on him. I could only imagine the whipping capability of the hose, if something WERE to happen. .............By the way awesome shot of the sticker. |

Cut me some slack! It is hard enough for an ADD guy like me to remember where he put his saddle..... when someone interrupts me while I am putting it on my high horse; it makes me forget why I was saddling up. Help the handicapped ;~) |

Yes way cool the sticker made it but this was the show I mentioned a while ago anyway maybe one day Mike Rowe will be with a company that wont make him look like a idiot. Well we know he is still alive because he is on Deadlest Catch but maybe they should make a series Deadlest Concrete Pumping They allready have 2 shows they could use.... |

Amazing, seems just about every safety rule involved in pumping was broke here (No hard hat, direct line of fire, double ended hose). Only thing missing is a S-hook on the 5 inch. They need to compile these clips and send them to ACPA to use in their classes. |

Art, Ease up on the Texas bashing there pad'na. That guy WANTS everything to go wrong. That is his "schtick" - M.O. Texas is a great place to be and to pump. Lots of good operators there. In the 70s & early 80s the true test of an operator was to turn him loose with 400yds of boulder crete water in Houston and see who the winner was. |

I hope the contractors and finishers that work with me regularily saw this. They will see how babied they are next time they cry that they have to push a 3 1/2 inch hose because I'm two feet short for a corner. Oh wait, they won't be able to pick that out. But that episode there does make me look like a pretty damn good operator. |
