wondering if anyone had exp with a small boom... saw a 17m that looked like it could access areas bigger machines could not. Does anyone know what the demand for a boom this small would be like? Machine a saw was a schwing on a 2 axle chassis. |

Our weight laws in Canada are silly we have a Concord 20m on two axles, and yes it has a purpose, alley's tight wire areas, and a pretty veratile line pump when need be, get a transition reducer and wammo, line pump. I utalize this machine allot, now I want the 32z Concord, 19ft ceiling. 5 section. |

there are times here in kc that we need two. we use it a lot as a trailer pump. comes in handy when we do bridges that only have one lane closer. |

Yes it can be a very versitile piece of equipment.A mobile line pump with the capability to reach second floor in limited area. Not long ago I was looking at pumps for sale and a few out there at reasonable price. It might be a viable option for one looking for trailer pump. |

I run a 17m Schwing. Like you all said it is great for jobs where space is an issue. My front outriggers only stick out 2.5 ft. on each side, so I can set-up in one lane and still gets cars by in another lane. It's a good pump to learn the controls and boom configurations. And when you don't have jobs for the shorty boom, send it out as a line pump. My company has two of them and they're rarely parked in the yard, we work them round the clock day and night. I like my pump and all but I'm ready for some more boom. |
