Wow like the Wright Bros airplane. What happens if you don't have a wall? |

If you did not have a wall you would just use a line pump. This unit was used to reach second floors and walls. The contractor loved this pump so much that he tried to copy it and fired the Bennett brothers but the unit they made would not pump concrete so they had to call them back.
I was told that they charged six dollars a yard to pump concrete back in 1955 |

jeeeezus... unbelievable... Did you see those outriggers?? I'm very impressed that they could get this thing to pump 'concrete' .. But it looked more like cementwater. Maybe it was some kind of grout to start up with?? |

Todd, Great piece of footage! I wanted to comment but had trouble log in, operator err? I told a fellow operator about this today. I thought it was one of the top post. Everyone must have been so excited with the arrival of such a machine? If they only new owning a concrete pump in 2011 is like purgatory? JK, I'm a sucker for punishment! Thanks for the work with the site! I still check in daily! |
