The first pro-type built. It was the first pumping job
after we changed the original "rubber tube" plus valve system that was
subject to rapid wear. The valve system shown was a "plug valve" system ...
much like the Case Macarr style.

The unit was powered by a Cummins NHC4 120HP @ 2,000 RPM. Concrete cylinders
8 inch x 36 inch. Rated and actual output
60 c yds per hour. Notice how we spread out the length to allow for access.
Also, notice the 2 inch slump concrete being pumped.

1968, the year i was born! And you in the US had allready mixertrucks with an rotatet can. We in Sweden got it first in the early 80´s, and it was standard (no more dumptrucks to transport concrete)  about 1986. But the can rotated backwards at that time - they change the wings in the can at - 1988, so it rotate right as it do this day. I grew up very nearby a concreteplant and i remember all the mixertrucks/dumptrucks - pumping concrete didn´t exist in the south of Sweden at that time, it came first in the early 90´s. Most fascinated was to see when the concreteplant load the trucks.....

Cool pic, i like these old workingpics - moore of that!
