Its not short stroking your problem is the mud is bridging at the first balls take a pressure washer nozzle stick it down at the one that not pulling mud you can watch your hopper and see witch one is not pulling just hit it with water and it will start with certian concrete or grout mine does it also, mine is a 5/45 it used to worry me but now I know what to do. Things I did with no help was change out one of the forward check valves, also switch it to manual stroke one side and hold it for a second or two then the other side, also I changed out the balls and seats they get worn and don't seat correct, very easy to do. |

I had a water rod made for mine. 3/8" x 36" with a ball valve and water hose connection, just like Ed's saying. Great for flushing out the manifold at clean up also. Olin pumps are cheap pumps to operate but require a good mud to pump. They do not like garbage. |

Olin has everything you need, be sure to change your oil in the wet box at least once a month and clean out your surge chamber and replace the hdy oil once a month mine take's one quart, it say's two quarts but I found that one is enough, 79 and I use only 2 1/2 inch hose nothing smaller or bigger. |

I do not know the answer but something is telling it to stroke. Loose wire, bad connection, relay getting hot. When it does that can you manually stroke properly ? |

yes strokes perfectly fine manually its weird as soon as you start it and turn it on it does it |

Here is something else make sure your alternator is putting 14 volts at the battery ,then make sure the connections are tight on your curcuit board, what 79 is saying about a loose wire could be right. |

With water you have to turn the flow control cause water doesn't compress. |
