 Dear Todd,

I am writing this letter to you today to reinforce and show my support for our industry. As you are certainly aware this industry is sick and in a state of confusion as we are not only direct victims of the current economic times, but also some our own industry. In my travels in North America I hear the same story over and over again, no matter from large or small it’s all the same.

Enough talk about the whys’ or because or blame the other guy. This industry will not correct itself, it is up to you. I beg you to take a pro-active approach, step out of the box and do something.

I urge that every owner of a concrete pump boom(s) or trailer(s) attend the only educational seminar that is being presented for the Pump Industry, That’s right for the pump industry, no general contractors, engineers, or the like will be there so the target subjects are “real pumping subjects”. You can not get this at events like World of Concrete or Con-Agg.

No it is not a vacation, but a seminar(s) with a purpose, Education. I have not met anyone in this industry that does not need to attend, now more then ever. If you want to help get the industry back on the right track then attend, if you are happy what is going on in the industry you are alone, I can assure you of this.

No matter if you are a member of the ACPA (American Concrete Pumping Association) or not, You are Welcome, no one is going to push you in a corner room and give you a sales pitch about joining, that’s not what this is about. You do not have to stay at the same hotel the seminar is being held at there are several other choices very close in the area in every price range and Denver is an easy airport to fly into. A lot of times you can book a package air/hotel/car at fantastic rates if you do a month in advance. Go to the web and look them up.

If I can assist you in anyway send me a note to my e-mail, bmiller@cifausa.com or feel free to call me at 410-610-9401.

In closing I sincerely hope you will take strong consideration to attend and help to get our industry on the right track again. Thank You, Bob Miller
