I run a 93 Swing 32XL. When I stop pumping  it seemed my pump would switch to reverse instead of nuetral position. On the job today I opened the water box cover to watch the rams and sure enough when I turned the pump off it would slowly operate in reverse. If I move the manual control by hand I could stop it. Watching the hand lever it moves farther an quicker when I start forward than when I pump in reverse. Bad valve?? Is it a rebuild kit or a replacement? Any other thoughts?

you need to rebuild your hand valve, given the age of the pump, you probably have weak springs and/or moisture build up inside the handvalve; if you find corrosion inside the valve, you need to check/replace your air dryer element as well; be careful when you take it apart and pay very close attention on how it is put together, so you dont have do the work twice (...I am talking out of experience...) I would also replace the electrical coils
