What a geat job! But what i can see, isn´t it woodbeams the pump are placed on? Real scary because of the groundpressure from the outriggers. If i owned a boompump i´d love to do that tricky nightjob (the boom is very close to the railing!). Then the sunrise while pumping concrete......only a bottle of Balvenie doublewood (google it) match that. If it´s possible, a bottle of balvenie doublewood and pumping concrete at the same time in the sunrise is the top of the line what i would like to do, but it will probably never happend, not at the same time....

The wood is very sturdy there is usally a 100ton crane where I was sitting so I'm pretty sure im safe, and there is a big difference between being close to a railing and touching it, a good operator should be able to get within inches off something without touching it.

"difference between being close or touch..." I remember when i was a mixertruckdriver and the boompumper swing the boom to pump back the restconcrete in my truck. There was no sencetive in his fingers - i ducked for the endhose and the 4:th elbow on the boom smash in to a window at a flat on the 3:rd floor on the apartmentbuilding beside my mixertruck. I where standing on the "balcony" on my mixertruck and ducking from all the fragments of glass falling from the window. It sounds wieard when the glassfragment lands on the mixerdrum. Noone gets hurt, but that boompumpers sencitive in his fingers is out of the way - sorry for every concreteworkers who have hold in his endhose.
