Has anyone ever used a 4 " stabber for an under water seat placement? I have always used a 5 " but it is only 40 yds at a 6" slump?

Thanks

I dont know the term "stabber" but We use only 4" steel or rubber on our underwater-pumping.... So I dont think it would be some kind of trouble , We have pumped docksides , windmills , lighthouse at sea and no trouble .

i have used 4 and 5 inch with no problem. but i always pour underwater at a 8 inch slump or higher so it will flow and spread

Try an anti-washout admix. http://goo.gl/SKMp Also, slump it up with super-P rather than water.

Its funny how you sometimes after all these years suddenly hear a term that you have never heared before but you get the feeling you should know. I once had to replace a collegue from another pump company because his pump broke down on a big poor... He was talking about my 'flyer' all the time and what i should do with it.. And he found it verry stupid that I didn't know what that was. Can anybody guess???
