I love those old Schwing 42's, the one I had run pumped hard and didn't ever give me any trouble. They just didn't turn right at all which made driving an experience every time.

42 best pump schwing has ever made!!! And yes all 5in the entire boom.   Should be a great addition to our fleet.  As a company over the years we have purchased many new pumps, this one is special because it's our first since the recession and its a sign of good things to come!

I love those pumps. Smooth machines.. pump great, and the boom bounce isn't crazy when your flat out. Great choice!!! Definitely my favorite boom choice If I had to pick one

42 was a nice pump but out dated. you gona love the 46 sx outrigers and no more fear to hit some thing whit your boom when you make a corner.

Yeah those new booms are excellent.. I run a 45sx sometimes, and its perfect for residential and commercial.. Super smooth for the size of the boom also. You get up to the 58 and 61s and the boom becomes a bit more flexy to control if the mix is a stiffer slump. 45-47 hold up great to 2.5-4" slumps though in my experience.

Great great machines. I used to run a 42 meter as well. Smooth booms, just out dated. the only downfall of the super X out riggers is getting around stuff because of their angled design. But that's just like any pump. The 42 sucked setting up sometimes too. Especially in tight areas where you'd have to Swing around stuff, then back up so you could setup correctly. Or Vise Versa. All pumps have their pros and cons.. but seriously. These 45, 46 and 47m booms are great choices. I would recommend them definitely

Yea Boomer. I'm with you. Just nice to see new pumps coming out again.

That 42 is part of an era in Schwing where they were built for eternity. Just flat out pour concrete. nothing fancy, nothing to brag about. Just flat out got it done everytime out.

Good luck with then new one.

First company with 52 in 96 in iowa not gonna lat some 1 1up me with a bigger boom in the state in 2014.  It may be a ego thing, but we have a great mix here and the 4 1/2 doesn't scare me.  I know its gonna be all good and who knows???,, 58 maybe we will order it soon, 61 was the best pump for us right now.
