We had a 44 meter Cifa that fell out of the sky on a panel pour a few years ago. The ram on the second section bent like a pretzel. Never seen anything like it. Luckly nobody got hurt.

A.

Marko;   I would like to respond to your question, but I do not understand what you are asking. CIFA produces a 6 section 52  - and a 6 section 58.

B.

It All Goes Boom;  Where was that at ? The CIFA 44 meter was the 1st big stick, before they and others followed bringing out 47's, The last ones where produced in 2001/2002. I would like to know the history of this.

how do you like the 6 section boom.  was lookin at the spec of the cifa & putz 6 section and it looked like the 5th section is split in half to make the 6th?  did you find there was any advantage?

Yes. you can operate it as a 5 section, but the sixth section is a 90 degree bend.  It works great if you have to reach those high floors.  I think it is safer and a better utilization of the boom.  You don't have to kick it back to get it in the building.  You can go straight up the side and then kick the sixth section in to your system.
