Every two days we have to replace the main fuse of the pump because its is burning. This fuse is 30 A and it's located near of truck batteries. Any suggestions? |

There is a ground and a power wire that runs from the battery box, down the frame rail, to the computer at the back of the pump. Sometimes a rock or something gets lodged between the water box and the wiring harness rubbing off the insulation and causes a short. If that is the case it is very easy to run another ground and power wire to the back. Be sure to use a large enough gauge wire and use a protective conduit. |
