Me too...  I usually have to 'fly low' and stay in a 'Z' to avoid any near misses.

I think that the contractor waits until the concrete pour to do all their crane picks on purpose.  You'll be in the middle of pouring columns and have to shut down because the Electricians need their rolling tool box flown to the other end of the slab.

Nice pics Granite - and 38zman...like the snow.

The Tower crane operators where good the site general told them to work around us. They provided the labour to back in the trucks fetch my pads, timber. I have never been so spoiled...lol.

The General contractor appologized to me for the delays and the unorganized traffic problem (had to swing my outriggers in twice for tractor trailers. They are paying by the hour "take your time"..the longer the better..

Great site and crews..

Here in KC the tower canes work with us. If they have to come somewhat close to my boom they have a guy on the ground let me know and wont come around me unless I know what they are doing. kinda nice. one less thing to worry about

My favorite thing about tower crane operators is when they swing that dripping concrete bucket over my million dollar machine.  nice pics granite..... its pretty crazy when u can't get far enough away to get your whole boom in the picture.

the best thing to do with tower crane operators when they have just dripped concrete all the way down the lenth of your boom is to get a big sledge hammer and bang the bottom of there crane. by the time the vibration gets up to them it puts the wind up the for a bit.

Granite, I think I know that pump from its first home here in Seattle? If it came from Reno, It ran up here for a while when it was brand new. Same red/white paint job but it used to have the Seattle sky line tattoo'd down the back outriggers. 11 inch juggs and gulps down concrete like a starving beast!!!
