When you changed the bad solenoid, did you replace it with a continuous duty type? Just a thought- |

as Sir Mac stated there are two types of these solinoids, momentary duty-normaly found on things like starter motors, and continuous duty- used to supply power for long periods of time.Another problem could be excessive current draw through the solinoid-bad vibrator motor, bad cooler fan motor, etc or it could be a bad connection or shorted main power wire from the solinoid to the back of the machine |

Yeah, get one from schwing they're about $40. Also on mine I found there were two feed wires on the dash pto switch. make sure you have both hooked up and good voltage, It'll work with one but not always. Good Idea to carry a alligator jumper wire just in case. |

As b-alto said. I had a bad button switch on my PTO it would work for like a half hour then nothing. I hade a jumper for it to bypass that and, Viola! no problems so, I replaced it. Also some times it would the doghouse fuse, I guess it depended on the switches mood that day. I would check the wiring harness behind the box also, I have had them get worn after years of bouncing around and, they only short sometimes, just check anywhere that it is clamped to the frame or has contact. |
