Back to work in BC after the Olympics? Glad to have your town back? P.S. Congrats on the hockey game.

thanks Alan, yes it certainly is back to reality after the Olympics... in regards to the gold medal hockey game, it was a great game (regardless of the outcome)... the boys in blue have nothing to hang their heads about after that one, it just as easily could have gone the other way, I'm already excited for round two in Sochi 2014!

Hey 16,

Did The Olympics have much of an impact on your work load? We were pumping caissons for a drilling contractor on Northbound I-5 just north of Seattle during The Olympics... We had to pump the nortbound caissons during the night because they  (The Feds) wouldn't allow the contractor to "block or restrict" traffic on the northbound lanes during the games.

Bye the way, cograts on the gold... we will definately see you in 2014... Go Team USA!!!

work wise things actually stayed reasonably busy (considering the times) during the Olympics, although there was not much going on in the downtown core, there was lots going on just minutes from the heart of the action... I was actually very surprised at the amount of work around town, was expecting everything to be on shutdown for the duration of the games.
