nice pump and nice job but your dunage under that front outrigger is not good at all

what do you think guys

thanks guys, pump size is Putz 40Z (probably my favorite size pump in the fleet, lots of reach on the same footprint as most 32/36's makes it super versatile, especially with the Z boom. As far as the dunnage under the front outrigger... four pads each consisting of 3 48" long 4X6's lag bolted together and stacked on top of two 18X48 DICA mats. So no... it's not just a loose pile of 4X6's..........

Thats a 36.

you can put the dunage togather how ever you want it not spred out enought

Do you not see all the rock there? That was not hauled in. The entire hillside is rock, you don't need to spread the load over much area when you're sitting on solid rock. BC don't have any 'Alabama Clay'.

Near as I can tell, the job was completed to satisfaction, and the pump stayed upright and drove home at the end of the job. Guess the dunnage was just right for that pump on that jobsite. Quit pickin' and look at the pics. Absolutely gorgeous jobsite. The mornings and sites paired together that make us remember why we love what we do. Awesome pics man, keep'em coming.

your pump can roll that dunage out from under that leg its not spread out enought

keep in mind that are basing an opinion on a photo that is taken from 50ft. away... I agree that wider is always better (if you have the available material), in this case going any wider would mean that I would not have enough dunnage left to get the pump leveled up within 3 degrees. I would say that the operator who is actually on the job site is able to make a much more informed decision as to what is safe and what is not given the particulars of the setup area. I was comfortable with the setup, and the job was completed safely without incident, a pretty decent day in my books!

“Absolutely gorgeous jobsite. The mornings and sites paired together that make us remember why we love what we do”. I second that motion, looks like a job very well done, keep up the nice work 16.
