These guys were pouring Stamped ribbons, they wanted a 3" whip so they would'nt splatter the stucco exterior but all I had was a 4"? So..... out came the knife and the ductape (hill-billy chrome) |

BUT.... Since the concrete was 2 hrs late and hotter than the hubs of hell, I had little time for photography! so here's what I did get. It worked great!!! |

Bisley, stamp mix up here is 60/40 pea-gravel (super sandy) and in the NW "course materials" are only used for gravel drive-ways. 90+% of the material used for concrete is glacial deposit pit run and its all round rock, no angular stuff. Heck I bet the sand is even round up here, it was'nt that long ago RM materials were dredged directly out of the rivers! |
