I hate to see pics like this. So much for the one to one rule on excavations. Alot of this crap can be avoided if the operator would just read the operator handbook for his machine.

1-1 or 2-1 on putz and others.
Don't see alot of dunnage either. Not under the crane either. :D
I like to use some extra 4x4 under the pads on hot asphalt, just as peace of mind...

I just hope nobody got hurt. Some operators just have to learn the hard way.

16 cell it´s a Palfinger not a HIAB , or do you call every knuckleboom HIAB ? Some do that...

I they have blowe the pipes I should gues the knuckleboom lifted the boom , but where are crane nr 2 the one that hold the pump back from hitting the ground so hard ?

One lift and the other one hold it back .

On My Putz 46-5 weight the boom 7700 - 8000 kg at the middle of the second boom , the craneweight showed that weight...

We had one tower-crane , lifting and one 60 ton mobile-crane that hold the backend of the pump , We had chain around both the pump and truckchassi....

And before every one wonder why , the ground break . To little dunnage ? No , It was the 6:th pouring at that place (same place all 6 time and wooden-matts under the feet , and they where never moved)

It came up water in the clay so it was like standing on muddy-waters when it fell over My friend....

Outrigger on top of pavers????? What were you thinking that close to an open excavation????

It was a bad setup the first time it worked and didn't fail, and every time after that.

pumpjockey it is Mine post you mean ?

So if an operator do 5 setup and the ground hold , and on the 6:th setup the ground break after 6 hours of pumping . We had a break and as usually I do a check of the setup and nothing had change , the pump was inlevel and no sign of sinking . And a waterline starts to leak and do the ground unstable , then was the first 5 bad setups ?

All 6 time in the same place .

Btw fill your profile , who are you , work for , year in pumping , owner , operator ?

No pic , nothing at all , why hide ? Maybe to many setups ?

I'm referring to this setup in this post.  Way to close to an excavation with the outriggers.

Let's not get into the profile thing again, eh?
