Sounds like Metal fatigue or boom weight exceeded. This BS happens all too frequently. The problem lies with inexperienced operators loading the boom with at worst 8.0mm thickness pipes or a 100mm spec'd boom with 125mm thinking they will get less wear and tear. Either that or they have 6 meter delivery hoses of the boom. The crap you see here most of the time... |
