remove accumulator and hook a gauge to schrader valve. should have a 100psi pre charge |

It is 100 bar, not 100 psi (100 bar = 1450psi) |

Your accumulator pressure should be 200-180 bar and drop down to 100 bar when the rock valve switches. |

are you sure 100 psi or bar |

MY mistake. Yes, its 100 BAR . lol , 100 PSI and you wont have a very good shift experience. It will need to be pretty wet to shift right. sorry about that |

A quick check is to have the machine operational with the estops cleared and make sure you have the 200 bar hydraulic pressure on the accumulator hydraulic gauge. If you watch this gauge close when you hit an estop it will drop slow and at some pressure it will change its rate of dropping from slow to fast. the spot where it changes rate of dropping is an indicator of the nitrogen charge in the accumulator and if correct you will see this change around 100 bar. yeah the only reason i told him to remove it was because I was told the gauge on the deck was just for reference and was not 100% accurate. Could just be false information I was given though? |
